La Cósmica is a fried chicken and brewery restaurant inspired on the Southern US flavours and the culture of popular Latino American neighbourhoods. The quality of the fried chicken sandwiches, the concept, and the space were designed in order to invite the customers to stay long after dinner, have some beers and listen to some music.
The design is a direct answer to the urban and popular aesthetics. The place was thought to look and feel like a combination of pop icons, street art and DYI visual elements. The branding relies on a specific iconography composed by a baby chick, a thunder, and stars, matched with a robust and grotesque typography. All of the complementary elements and variations are reinterpreted according to the visual, communicative and contextual needs of every single location.
