Branding for the National Museum of Colombia’s restaurant. The restaurant El Panóptico needed to rethink its brand and interior design to reflect the culinary values of Colombian coastal culinary as well as the National Museum’s history and location (an old panopticon). The result was a sober, elegant and somewhat tough brand. Special emphasis was put on the colours and materials to remember the pacific jungles of Colombia and the building’s role as a prison. This design was developed with the architecture and design team of the Fundación Escuela Taller de Bogotá.
